Commercial Photography ServicesAt Hawaii Pacific Photo & Video, we offer mostly digital photography services and sometimes film-based photographic services in situations where a large format camera is needed due to the unsurpassed control large format film systems offer. Some of the commercial photo services we offer: Business & Corporate- promotional & advertising, in-store display, website photos of staff and facilities, etc. Studio portraits- at our beautiful, state of the art studio inside of our facility. Reasonable prices! We prefer to charge by the job, and also offer our services by the hour for those wanting that option. We work with Clients from many different fields, and offer them highly personalized service with a tremendous focus on quick and effective action and communication. We often times provide both video and photographic services on the same project. We did just that for Hilton Grand Vacations Club and Boeing. Most of our photographers are very experienced in both photography and video, comfortable in both studio and on-location environments. Many have extensive motion picture experience as DP's, Directors, Directors of Lighting, Jib and camera persons, etc. We work effectively with your team members- such as: audio specialists, stage managers, graphic artists, presentation specialists, etc. We also offer outstanding graphic design and web-based services, including website optimization. We are often involved with several different services for our clients at the same time, making it easy for you to effectively and efficiently get things done working with one capable team. You will find us to be responsive, articulate and surprisingly available via the telephone and email. Digital Services We use Hi-end Canon digital and their best L optics, as well as leica R and Nikon optics on Canon D series camera bodies. The Nikon 14mm super wide angle lens offers stunning ultra wide images. Our Canon 1Ds Mark II is a fabulous camera, with superb image processing and a more than adequate 16.9 megapixel image size. The new 1DS Mark III has greatly increased resolution of 21.1 megapixel, but at that resolution, it makes most lenses look very soft, and so we choose to use the 1DS Mark II and the 1D Mark III which do not surpass the capabilities of current lenses. Digital is fantastic when big enlargements are desired due to our lambda digital photographic printer, the only one in Hawaii and the worlds finest. We use only Kodak professional and Kodak metallic photographic papers, and Duratrans transparency film for vastly superior prints and backlit signs and displays. It is no secret that we print for Hawaii’s best, most successful commercial and wedding & event photographers. They have relied on HPP since 1995. Digital backs are found on medium format systems, but not presently on large format systems that we are aware of. Shift and tilt movements are essential to obtain the extreme depth of field photographing jewelry and other small objects, as well as certain large subjects that require extreme depth of field and other corrections & requirements.
